PF1951-Arby's -Blair

We are pleased to have assisted Arby’s Restaurant Group in the recruitment of Mr. Greg Blair as Vice President, Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture. In this newly created role, Greg will drive ARG’s five-year information technology strategy planning and implementation efforts and will ensure that I/T strategy aligns with business priorities and ensure the company’s enterprise architecture aligns with the long term technology vision.  ”We were looking specifically for technology strategists with corporate experience…those people with strategic vision who had also been through delivery cycles,” commented Larry Mendez, who led the search.  “Greg is clearly a strategic thinker with the ability to work across an organization to explain value achieved by technology.”

Greg joins ARG from Microsoft where he was Client Partner, Enterprise Architecture. He was previously with EY Consulting and Accenture where he served global fortune 500 clients engaged in multiple industries. Congratulations and best wishes to Greg and the ARG team.

Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc. (ARG), founded in 1964, is the first nationally franchised sandwich restaurant brand with nearly 3,400 restaurants worldwide. The company owns and operates almost 950 stores, has reported 18 consecutive quarters of same store sales growth and generated more than $3B in revenue in 2014.  ARG reshaped the management team and quickly advanced the company’s strategic direction after separation from Wendy’s in 2011.  ARG is led by Paul Brown, a former McKinsey Partner who led diverse technology and hospitality organizations at IHG, Expedia, and Hilton prior to joining ARG in 2013. Brown and his executive team continue to enhance the company’s culture, systems and processes to innovate Arby’s product offerings, improve the customer experience and achieve strong financial results.

Larry was my main point of contact through the recruitment process and was very thorough in verifying my qualifications and experience, and adequately describing the opportunity.
Mark Boekenheide, AIA, LEED AP, Managing Partner, BBG-BBGM
In early 2013, we engaged Larry Mendez at Bannerot Partners to conduct a search for a chief operating officer for our company, Supertel Hospitality – a publicly traded REIT located in Omaha, Nebraska. I was familiar with Larry through his work in the hotel industry, and our Board of Directors endorsed the assignment. Larry was incredibly thorough, communicative, and effective throughout the process. In the end, we hired a very qualified candidate that fit our culture perfectly.
Mr. Kelly Walters, CEOSupertel Hospitality
Larry has provided first class service to our company on many occassions. His deep knowledge of the market and key individuals, his understanding of our culture and our company projects means he’s provided excellent candidates and has helped us recruit top performers at senior levels of our organization. I highly recommend Larry’s services.
Mr. Olivier Poirot, CEO, Accor North America
I’ve always found him to be the consummate professional. He works very hard to understand the client’s need and has an expansive network which allows him to execute against the strategy.  Larry is ethical beyond reproach and understands how to gently nudge the process forward and across the finish line.
Bill Upshaw, President Lodging and Residential, CSM Lodging
“I highly recommend Larry Mendez and Bannerot Partners. In the search work that Larry did for us, he was able to identify high caliber candidates in a relatively short time span. We were pleased with the professionalism of the process and the final outcome. “
Bob Joyce, EVP Human Resources, Extended Stay America
