We are pleased to have assisted Remington in the recruitment of Jarrad Evans as Chief Investment Officer.
Remington Hotels, operating 88 branded or independent properties generating revenue of $1B+, is one of the largest hotel management companies in the United States. In 2019 Ashford, Inc. acquired the Remington Holdings’ hotel management business, privately held by Monty J. Bennett and Archie Bennett, Jr., the company’s chairman and CEO and his father. Remington is expanding third-party management services to the industry, supported by a co-investing and acquisition strategy, with a focus on branded and independent full-service and luxury properties in North America and the Caribbean.
In this newly created role Jarrad will drive development and growth of the third-party management business by leveraging industry relationships, identifying new management and acquisition opportunities, and enhancing existing owner relationships. Jarrad joins Remington from Benchmark where he led Benchmark’s business development team, in collaboration with, Benchmark’s capital partner, Gencom, a Miami-based investment firm that develops and owns hospitality real estate assets around the world. He previously help senior development roles at ClubCorp and Troon Golf. Jarrad earned his MBA at Arizona State and bachelors degree from Ohio University.
